Later Edit: I've just read through this - urgh. Sloppy first draft of a translation is sloppy. I'll come back to it when I have the time and get it up to my usual standards. Seriously people, why didn't you kick me and demand an edit?

I said I wouldn't write Nothing to Hide again so soon, but I bring you the partial translation of an article from Yogaesoteric, the MISA official website. www.yogaesoteric.net/content.a… The Caps and the bolds are kept as in the original. This is only the first part of the article, btw.

Keep an eye out for the story about the rotten placenta!

If MISA wants to use this translation, be my guest. It's free. And unlike Grieg, I don't mistranslate people (or if I do, then it's one of those unfortunate cases where I either misunderstood the original or couldn't find an English concept to fit the Romanian one)

Miracle, love, wisdom, goodness, joy - Some yogis' stories concerning their meetings with yoga professor Gregorian Bivolaru

"GOD exists. He is present everywhere. He is always with me. Only with His help do I have all that I need to have." This is the truth according to great thinkers, and I entirely agree with it and advise you to live according to these teachings that have existed for millenia. - Gregorian Bivolaru

Side note: MISA texts usually have a gazillion mottoes (usually quotes from famous people). You'll also find quotes inside articles, when they can stick them in. Sometimes they're not quotes, but misquotes. I suppose that's some sort of pseudo-academic or pseudo-convincing technique: hey, look, we're putting quotes everywhere, therefore we've studied a lot! Incidentally, the actual practice in circles where people 'study a lot', such as in academic works, is to paraphrase rather than quote, to go into the depths of the things you quote and to offer a bibliography, none of which are standard practice in these articles or in Grieg's works. I don't think that man has ever considered writing a proper bibliography entry.

These are the words of a true spiritual Guide. He teaches us that the only purpose of existence, regardless of which of the seven fundamental levels it happens on, is the spiritual evolution which is crowned by the complete revelation of the Immortal Divine Self (ATMAN) and by gaining the complete state of godhood through the ecstatic fusion with God the Father. To refuse one's spiritual evolution is actually to refuse true existence, it is an insistence on going, obstinately, against an irresistible divine current that determines all that is good, beautiful and true in the entire Universe.

The seven 'fundamental levels' refer to, I assume, the seven chakras (wiki entry: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chakra ). To make a long story short, they're focal points for receiving and transmitting energies. The complete revelation of the Immortal Divine Self is the same as the Liberation which is mentioned below. If you think that this paragraph sounds like a soup made of all possible traditions, why, methinks you're right.

In this article, we have grouped a few significant stories told by yogis. These stories are significant not because they are unique, but because there are thousands of others like them. They refer to their interaction with the yoga professor Gregorian Bivolaru (Grieg), especially from the perspective of a direct relationship between a yogi and his yoga teacher, or to put it differently, his spiritual Guide. Because yoga is a spiritual path and not just any theoretical discipline, the yoga teacher is different (something more) than a normal teacher. The easiest way to understand the relationship between a disciple and a spiritual guide is to compare it with the relationship established between a novice mountain climber and an experienced mountain guide. Analogically, the spiritual Guide is the one who knows the spiritual path and can lead the disciple successfully to its end.

Each of the disciples on a spiritual path can often receive paranormal help, either from the Spiritual Guide, or from different subtle entities, because it's known that our world is watched by many beneficent entities which are always disposed to offer help to those who deserve it and request aid with an open heart. In this category of phenomena the subtle help given by the Spiritual Guide has a special place. The most important subtle help that the disciple can receive from his Spiritual Guide is related to attaining a state of communion with God that is as profound as possible, since this is the very purpose of their relationship. Also, a true Spiritual Guide will always try to make his spiritual disciples understand that the help he gives truly comes from God the Father, and through this they will increasingly open up towards God.

I agree with the bold. There really are a lot of stories like these. Also, did you notice that 'it's known' in the second paragraph? Grieg uses it a lot when some things are most definitely not known. Proof? Sources? If you ask for them, you're guilty of thinking too much.

Another thing I'd love to point out is that while Grieg never says "I am a Spiritual Guide/Master", he lets it be said of him on all occasions. I've been told a hundred times by yogis that he is not going to say those words, but, as you can see, he doesn't need to.

(P.S. The multiple capitalization variations of Spiritual Guide/spiritual Guide/spiritual guide are there in the original)

*******

"As far as my relationship with Grieg is concerned, when I first saw him I had no notion of what a Spiritual Guide was. I was impressed by the fact that, although he was young, he knew a great number of things and I saw him as a very competent professor. But as time went by, an ineffable relationship developed between us, more profound than any other relationship in my life, and so complex that it would be very difficult for me to define it. His spiritual strength, his exceptional perspicacity, his calm, his self-control and his sovereign natural simplicity fascinated me. I was near him during certain moments, some of them difficult and even dramatic, so I can say that I know him quite well and that he's the only man who never disappointed me, quite on the contrary, he made me admire him and see him as a model for my behavior. His initiatives always amazed me and delighted me, and in his conceptions I never noticed those limitations or rigidities so common to ordinary people.

My constant preoccupation concerning knowing and learning comes from Grieg. I began to read more, making, especially before the Revolution, great sacrifices to obtain books that could enlighten me, or which I knew could later help others. I also assimilated my tenacity from him, as well as the power to start things over again, which he proved in 1984 after the first time the YOGA library got confiscated, in 1989, after the second time, and in 1996, after the assassination attempt that took place in his apartment and destroyed thousands of very valuable books.

I'm taking a moment off from the translation to explain that 1996 reference. That year, Grieg's apartment blew up. It was claimed in MISA that the freemasons tried to kill him, but luckily failed to catch him at home. However, he is known for a tendency of living in extraordinarily hot quarters. The official explanation from the fire dept. was that there was a gas leakage from the stove which caused the explosion. I tend to side with that.

I admired the firmness with which Grieg always defended his ideas and spiritual convictions, even if he risked being blamed, calumniated, persecuted. As far as this is concerned, he continued giving people spiritual knowledge even during the period when YOGA was forbidden in Romania. Also, after a few years of practice I understood that all his actions are surely done according to an intuition and a clairvoyance which tell him what is best to be done in certain moments.

I realized that all the problems that came about in his existence could have easily been avoided if he had not led so many people on the path of yoga, but he retreated, as others had suggested he do, caring only for his own comfort. The efforts and sacrifices that he makes come most importantly from his wish to help others and to offer them a spiritual sense in life. Becoming conscious of these, I attempted to follow his example. " (C.T.)

That thing about yoga being forbidden in Romania? It was one of the bright ideas that the communist regime had. Also, the writer of this part might be, according to initials and references, Claudiu Trandafir, one of Grieg's earliest disciples, who now abandoned him and who has become a persona non grata. So much for Grieg never disappointing him... In MISA, of course, the official stories say Claudiu fell from his high state of spiritual evolution and thus denied his Master.

I assume that the only reason this story is still on the site is that his full name isn't given.

*******

"The first paranormal experience that concerned Grieg took place when I was 10 years old (20 years ago) when, being very ill, I entered a coma. I then came before some subtle entities that I asked to let me return to life, but they told me that "there is no longer any medicine" for me. Then Grieg came surrounded by a bright white light and extended his hand towards me. And then I came back to life, to everybody's surprise. Later I had states of extraordinary intuition, of genius, certain bio-energetic abilities awakened in me and I was never ill again. I had a fulminating social and intellectual evolution.

A year before coming to the YOGA course I dreamed of Grieg again. He advised me not to eat meat, to make love without ejaculating ("with continence," as I found out later) and to pray the entire day every Sunday. I did everything he said entirely and a wonderful woman came into my life. She was at the YOGA course, but fearing that I wouldn't understand some spiritual aspects, she avoided talking about these. I found out that she was leaving for the yogi camp in Herculane and asked if I could go with her, but outside the camp.

On the day in which the first spiral followed by the Induction of the State of Liberation through Divine Miracle of this course was to happen, I dreamed of Grieg who told me: "I am at Hotel Roman, 5th floor. I'm not an angel, I'm waiting for you!".

The next day I was going to sustain my doctoral thesis. The entire day I thought of that dream; I knew nothing from my girlfriend either of Grieg, or of the spiral. Nothing. In front of the ticket agency I decided to listen to my heart and go to Hotel Roman. On the hallway to the 5th floor a voice was heart: "Let Adrian come!". In this way I got to meet Grieg and participated for the first time to a YANG spiral.

I then went to the spiritual camp in Costineşti. After one of the YANG spirals followed by the Induction of the State of Liberation through Divine Miracle I told Grieg: "I have never felt such states before." He answered: "It is a normal state. We must find our state of humanity to be God's people."

I had other paranormal experiences with Grieg, too; I consider relevant the one in the autumn of 2002 when I saw the image of Grieg kneeling before the Celestial Thrones of God, praying that this country would be spared the earthquake. Only at the last moment, at 4.00 AM, God became merciful and Romania was saved.

As time went on, through telepathic contact with Grieg I was initiated in GAYATRI MANTRA and in the MANTRA of the Great Cosmic Power BAGALAMUKHI, before I received them at the YOGA course, as well as in the secret practice of the 7 fires." (A.M.)

A few explanations to this one: sex without ejaculation really does exist and it's an Oriental practice, I think from Tao and I think Tibetan Buddhists may also be practicing it. I'm not sure. Orgasm can still be reached, but it's stupidly difficult for men to achieve, from what I've been told. And when done incorrectly it can lead to a lot of problems, starting with a greater need for sex and ending with medical issues regarding the prostate. Not to be messed with.

YANG spirals are Grieg's inventions, meditations held in a spiral formation, something involving thousands of people. It is arranged according to zodiac: Aries: boy, girl; Taurus: boy, girl; [etc.] then the cycle starts over again. Eventually some sign or other will run out, but the order is preserved, as much as possible.

The Liberation referred to in the overly long Spiral name is the ultimate purpose of yogis.

The earthquake is probably one of the many natural disasters that humanity is happy to never have known, due to the intense prayer of somebody or other. I haven't kept very good track of the disasters MISA has averted.

It's hard to tell truth from lies in MISA. Grieg really is a very strange individual. This story may be a lie, or a trick. If it is the truth, I am seriously disturbed.

There are people who genuinely dreamed of Grieg:

-me. A few times when it wasn't Grieg, in the way in which dreams go. Once when I talked to him on the phone during a very strange action dream in which a crazy immortal grey alien was chasing me around and wouldn't let go; I called Grieg on the phone and suddenly I realized that it was a dream and I'd called him for something really stupid. He didn't say anything. It was awkward and I wanted it to end. And then another time, after I met him physically. In my dream, I was in his room and he was making me feel amazingly loved and trying to explain to me how to capture his essence on paper (but in a drawing, not in writing) so I could represent him properly. I was very, very happy to be there. I loved him. I adored him. I'd have done anything for him and felt very floaty and very sticky somehow. When I woke up and shook myself, I felt absolutely violated, sort of like being dosed with a drug and forced into giggling merrily and submission.

-somebody who was in a line to get into some place (if I remember correctly). Grieg was at the door and told her "Not you".

-my ex, who met Grieg for the first time in a dream.

The list goes on, but I'm not certain of the rests' stories being genuine. I am rather disturbed by it. Especially by people who met Grieg for the first time in dreams.

*******
"In March 1995 I had a very special dream in which I was at the foot of a mountain with some colleagues. We were climbing on a very deceiving path, which disappeared and then reappeared in very dense fog, which got us lost. Miraculously, a monk appeared, in a black robe, with a hood over his head, so that we could barely see his eyes and who told us to follow him. We climbed very cheerfully, but wondering who he was and where he was leading us.

After awhile the path became very luminous; we reached a clearing as I had rarely seen before. The monk, who emanated a sublime perfume of basil, stopped before a huge table made of polished stone, around which were nine chairs also made of stone and who told us to sit. Only then did I realize that there were really nine of us, with the monk that had entered a state of profound meditation, determining us to follow his example. In that meditation all my thoughts were suspended and I lived a feeling of profound peace and a sensation of floating.

Finally the monk said: "I have brought you here, but you should know that I will watch you the entire way; therefore follow this path with much care and you shall reach the end!". Then we asked: "Why did you help us and who are you, because we want to follow you...". At that moment the monk, who already had his back turned, signifying that he wanted to leave, turned and looked at me amazing me with the glow of his wonderful eyes. He asked: "Would you be ready?". Then he disappeared in a bright white light leaving behind a wave of mystery in our souls... Only a long time after that I realized that that monk was actually my current Spiritual Guide and I had this certainty when I looked him in the eyes for the first time. He had the same mysterious eyes, calm and full of love..." (G.I.C)

It would appear Grieg plays the wise man even in dreams >.> (I'm choosing to disbelieve this dream because it seems too symbolic and far fetched, but then you never know)

*******
"My wife was pregnant in the 8th month. The doctors were telling us that the placenta had already started degrading, that the fetus was only fed very little (from the determinations of the hormonal concentrations) and he was underdeveloped (the possibility of his surgical removal being excluded because his lungs could not have resisted to the first breath and would have "exploded"). Seeing the ecography the doctors would say "it's still alive". Later clairvoyant Valentina told us that the placenta had gone into putrefaction starting with the sixth month.

We phones Bucharest and left a message for Grieg in which we explained the situation. The next day we received the answer on the phone: "I have heard. Grieg", and we started seeing that the placenta from which pieces had already started being eliminated, started "working", feeding the fetus. After another three weeks the birth happened, through surgical operation. The doctors were amazed: the child lived without any amniotic fluid, and the 2,150 kg weight was "normal". Practically a life was saved, or maybe two." (M.B)

And then the translator fainted, because she's not good with medical stuff (aka, she tends to get dizzy when reading stuff that translates too graphically inside her head).
Due to external events, I have come out of the closet as far as MISA is concerned. There's nothing to hide anymore (hence the title of the series), so all I write here may be copy-pasted and posted anywhere, with the username mentioned. Permission granted to do everything with these works, except misquote or mistranslate them (aka, don't change what I've said and then say I said it). I won't blame you if you decide to post hate work against anything written here, but be prepared for retaliations.

Article quotes translated from here: [link]

I felt that a bit of genuine text from MISA would be a good idea to insert. Also, I needed something to occupy my mind with since RL isn't being very kind.

NOTE: THE TRANSLATION IS A ROUGH DRAFT, curse my sloppiness. I'll edit it when I get the time.
