Nothing to Hide: Mihai Rapcea Once upon a time, there was a man whose name was Mihai Rapcea. He was a lawyer, which is not what heroes of tales that being with 'once upon a time' usually are. But he was one, and for many years that was what defined him for a lot of people.

When the yoga school he was part of went through a series of abuses from authorities in 2004, he stood up for it. As a lawyer.
When things continued to go bad, he kept being there, occasionally shown on TV, defending the man he believed in, Gregorian Bivolaru.

Nimic de ascuns 12: Cuplu Eram azi cu cineva şi a zis ceva de iubita iubitului meu. Nu eram foarte pe fază azi şi târziu m-am prins că există în general o problemă în sintagma asta şi că ideea de cuplu deschis e una controversată (ca să nu zic de-a dreptul blamată).

Nothing to Hide X: India Aaaah, MISA PR has got to be one of the best PRs out there. If you want to look like a complete and utter idiot, I mean.

A short while back, there was a yoga camp in India. It was held by Mihai and Adina Stoian, the head teachers of the Denmark branch of MISA, Natha.

Naturally, some of the people who are keeping an eye on MISA and MISA-related activities have reported it to various Indian authorities/press/whatever. One of the people from MISA whom I'm still in touch with was surprised that this should be done, but what can I say? It's what you get when you piss people off. They point you out and say 'look, that person's done bad stuff befoNothing to Hide X: India

Nothing to Hide IX: Website I feel the need to comment on almost every article posted on the official MISA website, Yogaesoteric.net. But seeing how I actually have a life, I'm not going to do that. I'll take the site as a whole and comment on it.

Some people comment on the color scheme, the accessibility or other such. Incidentally, I don't mind the colors and have nothing against the technical side of the website. I'm here for the contents.

In their 'about us' pages, which I'm afraid aren't translated to English, they state Nothing to Hide IX: Website

There was a MISA yoga camp at Herculane at the beginning of May this year. Among the conferences recorded and sent there by Grieg was one about stupidity. Among other things Grieg said in it was that ex MISA yogis refused to speak with MISA yogis, MISA instructors and even him, which was intensely tragic and demonic.

I'm going to include a translated quote here, as it appeared transcribed on the Exmisa forum. I'll do my best to make it as literal as possible, though I will have to ignore the grammar mistakes in the original.

In case the absurd length of the first paragraph-sentence and the grammar put you off, I'llNothing to Hide 8.5

Nothing to Hide VI: Art? You may have noticed this, but I'll state it anyway: I write. It's my art of choice. I can't draw, can't dance, can sing a (very) little and can push the camera button with no clue whatsoever about what I'm doing. I can also apparently act, too, but that depends on how the wind is blowing (literally; I can act when the wind blows, but if doesn't, my skills are reduced by more than a half. Anybody's guess as to why that happens).

So, in MISA, I used to hang around with the artistic bunch. Being a writer means you're solitary by default when you create, with few exceptions, but it doesn't mean you can't watch others do their stuff, that you caNothing to Hide VI: Art?

Nothing to Hide IV The MISA Happy Death Spiral.

If you're Romanian or if you happened to stumble across this accidentally, you know that MISA yogis sometimes come together in huge numbers (thousands) to meditate in a spiral formation. It's impressive (click to see a helicopter pic). It also has nothing to do with the Happy Death Spiral.

...When I came to the yoga course in 2002, I saw the picture of Grieg (Gregorian Bivolaru) on the wall. It was poster-sized and depicted him in a very unflattering way. Unfortunately, I can't find it on google, or I'd show you. It was him on some Christmas, I think. My mother had already been at their courses for years, so sheNothing to Hide IV

...I went out for tea today with a woman who is still a part of MISA. I could barely remember her, truth be told, because I don't think we ever spoke before. She ran into my writings, I haven't found out whether it was the article on violence and MISA (which I should re-post, I suppose) or "Nothing to Hide". She contacted somebody I knew about it and that somebody got us together, so she could 'explain some things to me'.

Nothing to Hide II I have a feeling these deviations will prove one tenth as popular, one fourth in quality and twice as troublesome as anything else I might write. In other words, a part of me is afraid. Another one basks in the chaotic fun.

This particular deviation concerns itself with the speed of information by a figurative word of mouth. Sorry about the lack of story-format here, consider this to be the STATEMENT entry.

As I was saying, I've nothing to hide about myself. Hence I don't mind posting my picture and my opinions together on dA. So perhaps it shouldn't surprise me that my boyfriend told me today that he'd heard I'd posted an article on the anNothing to Hide II

The yoga organization called "The Movement for Spiritual Integration Into the Absolute" (MISA) has acted as both a victim and a perpetrator of violence. Among others, the media has attacked both the organization as a whole and a number of distinct members on various occasions. In 2004, 300 masked and armed gendarmes and prosecutors broke into ashrams (yogi collective homes), intimidated the yogis who lived there and illegally confiscated numerous goods. Inside MISA one can find numerous instances of symbolic violence, verbal violence and psychological abuse.

Due to external events, I have come out of the closet as far as MISA is concerned. There's nothing to hide anymore (hence the title of the series), so all I write here may be copy-pasted and posted anywhere, with the username mentioned. Permission granted to do everything with these works, except misquote or mistranslate them (aka, don't change what I've said and then say I said it). I won't blame you if you decide to post hate work against anything written here, but be prepared for retaliations.
